The Rock Collection (RocCo) is a dance collective founded in 2012 by LA dance artists - Nicholas Heitzeberg, Kate Hutter Mason, Nguyễn Nguyên, Sarri Sanchez and Erik Speth. RocCo’s works are theatrically driven by personal interests in psychological and socio-political issues, and characterized by use of physicality, text, video and film, live music, sound design and new media arts. RocCo’s creations reflect their integrative, multidisciplinary and collaborative approach between dancers, animators, film makers, musicians, composers and media artists. RocCo has produced and presented work at the RenArts Theater Space, Carpenter Performing Arts Center, Marsee Auditorium and ARC Pasadena.
